selective service. And of course if there ever was a draft not allow gender to be a basis for exclusion.
We will soon have women fully integrated into combat roles, there is no reason to maintain the discrimination in the selective service and a possible draft.

(12,769 posts)If those in power insist upon waging ridiculous and often illegal wars then let them volunteer themselves or recruit volunteers. If it was a war people believed in they would volunteer and you wouldn't need to draft them.
There should be no need for Selective Service. No need for a draft. There is not need for war, except to justify the MIC and their profit.
