We do not have to see eye to eye on everything

and every issue to be a coalition that works for the betterment of the entire community and country. I am a God loving Christian with a capital C. I love my faith.. I love the community of faith I belong to. It grounds me.

Now you do not have to be a religious sort of any kind for us to work together. It may make you totally uncomfortable that I am so up front about being a Christian, but that does not mean we cannot be effective partners for change.

I am a DEMOCRAT .. big D .. BIG GOVERNMENT loving liberal.. a partner for change can be anyone along the political spectrum that shares my values.

So with all that in mind.. I am willing to work with those who I may disagree with on one plane if it furthers gains for those who need it most. I am not a person of means or wealth but I will not turn my back on people who are. If they are in it for the long haul in shared values.. guess what.. I am more than happy to call them partners.

Its shared values that gets the job done in the long run.

You may never want me crossing your door to come to coffee.. that is okay.. I may feel the same way about you but we can work together..

2014 first.. 2016 second. Lets get our state houses back in 2014.. and then find the best person who can continue to move forward the liberal agenda..

But think that this forum isn't necessarily a place to work together; it's a place to hash out our differences. And that brings on a certain amount of contention - i don't know that focusing on 2016 is the best use of our time, but whatever we talk about there will be some strong feelings and real arguments.

That said, it's helpful to remember that the things we agree on are probably greater than we disagree on.

about an issue, that we (and I am saying we here, because I am just as guilty of this as anyone) have a hard time finding where we can work together and move forward.

Sometimes we hash it out a little too hard.. if you get my drift..
