Good lord, the stupidity of the right knows no bounds

on FB a rw person I know posted about how Obama left out "under God" from his video reading of the Gettysburg Address.

Not only are there 5 versions of it, but this was for a Ken Burn's project. His note on it:

The Address PBS ‏@TheAddressPBS 4h

There are 5 versions of the Gettysburg Address. @kenburns asked President Obama to read the 1st, the Nicolay Version. http://www.learntheaddress.org
Retweeted by Ken Burns

That version does not contain "under God".

The books at Costco are arranged in big piles on tables and nothing is labeled as "fiction" or "nonfiction," books of recipes next to books on airplanes or murder mysteries. There are even heaps of books by right wingers, those heaps staying big until the books go to the shredder or the Dollar Store.

Perhaps they think Costco should have built a special shrine at the entrance to house the bibles.

Short answer, "No."

However, I have done an uneducated and unscientific study on the effects of facts and figures on the Con/Rep brain using various subjects from my FB friends.

I have concluded that when presented with actual facts, the C/R brain shuts down in preparation for a possible Armageddon. Fear takes over their conscious mind and they become wild-eyed, drooling, blithering fools. They'll occasionally develop an odd condition where they start repeating words and phrases that they claim come from some document or book (normally, the Constitution or Bible). Their lack of knowledge prevents them from understanding these written works, however. They're unable to recognize the hypocrisy and misinformation in their own words.

Further study of these critters is necessary to fully understand why they're completely moronic.
