Just kidding, he's white.

Rep. Trey Radel Pleads Guilty In Drug Case, Gets Probation

Rep. Trey Radel (R-FL) on Wednesday pleaded guilty in Washington, D.C. Superior Court to a misdemeanor charge of possession of cocaine.

Radel was sentenced to one year of supervised probation and ordered to pay a $250 fine to a victims' compensation fund. If Radel breaks probation, he faces six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.

After the hearing, Radel rushed out of the courtroom without saying a word to a horde of assembled reporters. He got into a minivan waiting outside the courthouse, and it drove away.

Let me guess, they are doing the same thing!

Prohibitions can easily corrupt politics, and always do to a far greater degree than we see.

The hypocrite.

How many others in this same type of cocaine arrest landed in jail before sentence and got prison? The USA is NOT a democracy any more.

I wonder if we will get 24/7 coverage of him for at least 2 weeks the way we have for Bob Ford?

Considering MSM rarely covers international news, if Bob Ford was big news, this should be HUGE!

LOL...

I also love how the feds decided to "negotiate" with his attorney instead of arresting him outright...Membership in the "club" definitely has it's privileges...

He should be denied any Government monies and benefits by his own logic. Let's see if any Republicans demand he be cut off from government funds just like any welfare recipient.

Proving that the Good Ole US of A won’t get shown up by anyone, Republican congressman Trey Radel of Florida has been arrested on cocaine charges.

Way to go, USA.

In the statement, Radel said he realizes “the disappointment my family, friends and constituents must feel. Believe me, I am disappointed in myself, and I stand ready to face the consequences of my actions.”

The arrest, he said, has a “positive side.” “It offers me an opportunity to seek treatment and counseling,” he said.

Yeah, let’s keep a positive light on the fact that you’re a rightwing Republican making choices about peoples’ lives for them while you’re. on. freekin’. cocaine.
