(66,328 posts)In my bathrobe and pajamas. Drinking hot coffee or hot chocolate. Looking out the window at the bleak, gray PNW landscape while being all nice and warm and toasty indoors.
And laughing my ass off at all the discount-junkies out there busting their humps in a fevered frenzy to get the best deal.
For me, the best deal is staying at home with my family enjoying a relaxing day off.

(39,909 posts)....but we don't just pick on WalMart.
Produce MORE,
Consume LESS.
Since we moved from the Big City to The Woods in 2006,
we avoid buying anything NEW whenever possible.
We buy 2nd hand or salvage (directly from the previous owner when possible) and make it work, or do without.

Living well on a low Taxable Income
Next year, we will CONSUME even less.

(23,156 posts)Never shop the day after Thanksgiving.
I'm going to guess that the main folks who won't shop there or that day are mostly like me, already don't shop there or on that day.
