Thank you for your service.

2. Each insurance has its own network. When did it bother the media that an hospital was not in network

I am not arguing it is normal. A good system should include the majority of the resources available, but it is nothing specific to ACA.

"Negotiations at several hospitals were ongoing, and it is possible some insurer networks will grow by the time policies take effect on Jan. 1.
Sloan-Kettering spokeswoman Caitlin Suzanne Hoo, said Wednesday that the hospital was still talking with insurers.
“We want to be accessible and expect to be in network with one or more ACA plans,” she said. She added that patients currently undergoing care shouldn’t worry about a disruption. “We would never stop a patient’s treatment because of a change in insurance or financial situation.”

So yeah, maybe they're not accepted YET, but nothing goes into effect anyway till January 1, by which time they "expect to be in network with one or more ACA plans"!

are either in their plan or not in their plan. This is hardly breaking news. Other than those who wish to destroy the ACA want us to think that this is something absolutely brand new and previously unheard of.
