.... Neo-Nazi and Canadian hate-crime fugitive Craig Cobb’s arrest over the weekend stemmed from an incident involving a former follower of the racial purist.

According to local prosecutors, after other white supremacists in Leith learned that Cobb possessed “sub-Sarahan African” DNA, one of them — currently not identified by name by the police — spray-painted “BACK IN BLACK” on Cobb’s house.

Grant County Assistant State’s Attorney Todd Schwarz told the Los Angeles Times that the man “painted on the house, ‘BACK IN BLACK,’ and he’s not an AC/DC fan.”

It was this graffiti that led Cobb and a follower to “patrol” the streets of Leith over the weekend. The pair were arrested and charged with three counts of terrorizing. ..........

the whole idea of racial purity is ridiculous, and the idea that racial purity defines some kind of superiority is even more ridiculous.

Throughout most of human history, the life expectancy was about 40, due in large part to rampant chronic diseases. The best way to build immunity and resistance to disease is intermarriage among different groups. Groups that were eclectic, racially diverse, open to and practiced intermarriage developed long-term genetic advantages in the form of a robust and varied set of immune system haplotypes. "Racial purity" has always led to disadvantage and inevitable dwindling failure.

There is a big difference between mean age of death and life expectancy of a species. Expectancy has not changed much in recent 100,000 years.

Inbreeding is a problem with genetic disadvantage. Genetic diversity is the opposite. There is no "racial purity" since there are no races.

but there have been studies based on burials and historic records which include only those who reached adulthood, to arrive at an estimate of life expectancy for those who survived the infant mortality problems of the past. Mid forties is a good estimate.

I've read several like this from similar studies, even one from Pre-spanish Mexico, which surveyed burial sites and, not accounting for children, found that adult remains averaged around 40 years old.

The availability of food has been one big change, as technology has steadily increased the reliability and abundance of the food supply. Even in the 1700's, I've read that in most areas of the world famine was, on average, a once every 15 years occurence. The difficulty of transport made things worse, as a crop failure in on region couldn't be practically mitigated by an abundance in another region. Famine led directly to disease (more often than starvation), especially prior to medical advances.
