Limbaugh calls Pope Francis a Marxist, Bill Donohue and Catholic League say nothing

I guess Bill, the "lib'rul" media's appointed voice of Catholicism only reserves his outrage for those like Sinead O'Connor who rightfully point out the sex abuse in the church's past.

Also, IOKIYAR

So Rush is free to say the church owes everything to capitalism and that the pope is someone's dupe and is likely a commie.
Bill is just fine with it.

Rush Limbaugh wanted to like the Pope. He really did. But then the pope had to go and blow it all by releasing a long apostolic exhortation that lambastes free-market capitalism as “a new tyranny.” Now Limbaugh is very disappointed with the pope. Bad move, pope!

After a long set-up, during which Limbaugh says he thought he liked the new pope and says he’s previously considered becoming a Catholic, Limbaugh gets into his befuddlement with the pope’s denouncement of “unfettered capitalism.”

“If it weren’t for capitalism, I don’t know where the Catholic Church would be,” Limbaugh haltingly begins. “I gotta be very careful,” he then tells himself. “I have been numerous times to the Vatican. It wouldn’t exist without tons of money.”

“But regardless, what this is — somebody has either written this for him or gotten to him. This is just pure Marxism coming out of the mouth of the pope,” Limbaugh concludes.

A revolutionary expression few Christians even understand what it really says.

Apparently Pope Francis does, at least in part.

but I can't say I disagree with the rest. That's a very uncomfortable thing to say considering it's Limbaugh, lol.

He probably feels like the Pope is a rival, and he is.
