Since I shared, several of my friends have shared. SC is, shamefully, number one in domestic violence, I understand.

I worked in Domestic Violence and Sexual assault for 10 years.

. Our safe house was always full sadly.. Women and children..
Especially during the holidays. All holidays, brought more in.

I learned that the pressure from family gatherings, drinking, and

more drug use was what made our safe house fill up during holidays..

So sad..
