1. I have been scratching my head over DU this last week. People seem to be confusing labor and worker'

workers' rights and treatment with other things.

Eat pizza on thanksgiving if you want. Shop today if you want. But work towards getting better pay and treatment of employees. Sometimes these things are related, sometimes they are not. But merely boycotting a place of business for 1 or 2 days will do little towards increasing pay or rights for employees.

There's no website called Cyber Monday Death Count, and Amazon doesn't have thousands of physical outlets that require staffing on Black Friday.

Both are evil, and I won't support either of them. I'll mock Black Friday consumerism all I want for being one of the worst drivers of abusive corporate practices.
