Want to donate extra food from your restaurant? There's an app for that!

A Chicago-based tech incubator called Blue 1647, launched a website and mobile app allowing restaurants to call for pickup of leftover food for distribution to homeless shelters. A great idea that needs to spread as there is a tremendous amount of good food wasted that can now be easily routed to the homeless.
This is truly one of those "Why didn't I think of that!" ideas.
