(81,519 posts)And the answer is as plain as the noses on any of their faces. OPEN YOUR DAMN CLOSED MINDS!!!!
Hey you, GOP:
You want to get women?
Quit objecting to equal pay!
GET THE FUCK OUT of our gynecologists' offices AND our vaginas!
Change your attitude toward family planning and contraception!
Leave our health care ALONE!!!!
Quit trying to keep us from voting!
Give us child care and student loan breaks!
Start taking rape seriously.
Raise the minimum wage.
Stop stereotyping us!
I could go on...
You want blacks?
Quit trying to stop them from voting!!!!
Quit standing in the way of anything that helps them succeed!
Quit sneering at them as lazy moochers.
Stop trying to convince us (and, pathetically, yourselves) that racism ended with Rosa Parks.
GET RID of those damn fucking Confederate flags!!!!!!!!
Raise the minimum wage.
Stop stereotyping them!
I could go on...
You want Latinos?
Stop trying to keep them from voting!!!
Stop opposing and obstructing immigration reform!
Raise the minimum wage.
Stop making it harder for them to get ahead.
Stop stereotyping them!
I could go on...
Stop listening to limbaugh & company.
Turn OFF Pox Noise.
Stop forcing your version of God on the rest of us.
Stop forcing corporatism and your free market crap on the rest of us.
Stop pushing trickle-down on the rest of us - you've even lost the Pope now.
Stop pushing your climate change denial on the rest of us.
Stop pushing your Old Testament obsession and science denial on our schools.
Stop pushing your damn guns on everybody everywhere.
Stop giving it all to the rich and the war machinery.
Start making the rich pull more of their weight. If you had a 250-pound muscle-bound hulk and a 98-pound weakling and their car tipped over into a ditch, who would you expect would be more capable of hoisting the weight and tipping the car back? Mr. Muscles or the little weakling? Oh - I get it... you think the weakling ought to do the heavy lifting...
I could go on...
It seems simple to me. But when you're dealing with reactionary, proudly-ignorant, racist, sexist, bullying idiots...
Cha
(297,763 posts)off really fast!

(81,519 posts)But I'm a 60-year-old white woman who will NOT have the government in her bedroom or doctor's office - so everything goes through that filter. I apologized for the other demographics I shortchanged.
And I totally left out young people.
You want young people?
Stop making it harder for them to vote!
Reform the damn student loan mess!
Stop trying to fool them on health care.
Stop poisoning and pillaging the planet THEY have to continue trying to live on after you're gone!!!
Stop making their future damn near impossible.
And I could go on...
And how about their grandparents? A lot of 'em are still with you, unfortunately. You still manage to fool them.
But start grabbing their Social Security and Medicare, and we'll see.
They could give up their austerity crap, too. Face it GOP, your way DOESN'T work, and your ideas SUCK. And until you change THOSE, you're always gonna be sunk. Even when you cheat and try to rig the game.
Cha
(297,763 posts)layed it out why they've lost these "groups", nonetheless!

Did I get it right?

(10,893 posts)but the GOP has also been doing horrendously among Asians, Native Americans, Jewish voters, and essentially everyone else who isn't (non-Hispanic) white, Christian, male, and/or rich. It's no wonder why they're constantly trying to rig elections!

(297,763 posts)Debbie Wasserman Schultz Schools Newt Gingrich Over War On Women Crack About Joe Biden
snip//
"Former House Speaker Newt Gingrichs (R) awkward attempt to link Vice President Joe Biden to the GOPs policies against womens reproductive health was smacked down hard by Democratic National Committee chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) on Tuesday."
snip//
Your party spent two years holding back on bringing the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act to the floor, Wasserman Schultz responded. Your party has nominated, consistently, the likes of Corbett in Pennsylvania, who famously said, Well, if women dont want to have an ultrasound when they have an abortion, they can just close their eyes.
"Schultz also pointed out that another Republican, Virginia Attorney General nominee Mark Obenshain, introduced legislation four years ago that would have required pregnant women to report a miscarriage to authorities."
