It's a nice view but with a decided Western Civ bent. It would be much better if it were more inclusive of women from other cultures, however.

There's another video on the same line, only it showed how female beauty standards have changed through the years by flashing through portraits of women. The funniest era was the Tudor/Elizabethan, when normal women were painted as chinless wonders because a strong jaw indicated an unfeminine stubbornness.

on edit: Actually, I came up with 3 female artists (and suspect another whose name I cannot recall): Berthe Morisot, Mary Cassatt and Artemisia Gentileschi.
