Toronto Mayor Rob Ford, who became an international punchline after admitting he smoked crack, is joining a U.S. sports radio show with a name that should delight late-night comedians: "Sports Junkies."
Washington D.C.'s WJFK said Ford will be calling in every Thursday morning to talk about sports and give NFL picks.
Ford got the new gig two weeks after his Canadian TV show was canceled which aired just once while the City Council was in the process of stripping the mayor of most of his powers.
The 44-year-old is a huge football fan who roots for the Toronto Argonauts, a team that suggested he should stay away from their playoff game after he made sexually graphic comments on live television while wearing their jersey.
He was spotted at a Buffalo Bills game last weekend, but even that was mired in controversy when a fan tweeted that Ford had stolen his seat.
