What Mandela had to teach us about getting shit done

So often, protests insist on non-violence as though it was some kind of holy grail. Mandela knew better. Sometimes you've got to set some shit on fire before the people in power start to listen. And yeah, sometimes you wind up in jail for a long time, or beaten within an inch of your life, or both. Or worse.

Point is, that didn't stop Mandela. He was committed. We can all take a lesson from his example.
