Venezuelan elections.
So this is Venezuelan Spanish, the translation is not bad, but I sometimes get lost when speaking to a Venezuelan because of their brand of Spanish. Sorry.
So I have a few people I talk with in VE on a regular basis. I started talking to her about the elections since she told me she had voted today. Yes on a Sunday. First she swears she wasn't forced to vote, or coerced to vote for a specific party or person. Second we started talking about the roles of women in local elections. Quite telling
[5:55:45 PM] [] for example here where I live cumanales tips that are responsible for making the houses of government and a lot more things are controlled by women
[5:58:19 PM] [] they are what give men orders to the workers that construct these houses commanding the government do, they are paid, seeking to speak to the minister in good order here in Venezuela about many things that are made by women
Woman it seems have the local power base. But how is this supposed to be in a dictatorship? Something doesn't smell right here. But then she put clarity on it.
[] here there are good things and bad government
And here is more about that evil dictatorship
[6:04:07 PM] [] Here we have the advantage that there are public hospitals and get medicines, exmanes, plates and operations are free because private medicine is very expensive
Jaja.
