of your total spent at the end of the year. The check comes around December 1. If you spend quite a bit and have a family of four or better it is worth paying the extra 45 dollars to upgrade. You get that back and can use the check on next years fees.

shopping extravaganza. Is like Sam's Club but better. Its Democratic blue. They have one of the best employee environments in the working class world. Most people who work for Costco have nothing but good things to say. Including good starting wages.

We started going when we bought supplies for a VFD Benefit, and got a card for ourselves. Don't get much there, but the gas price is the best in town and with their Am. Express card there is a refund on top of that.

Small membership fee. Warehouse prices. Employees are paid very well, I believe they start between 12-14 per hour. They have almost no employee turnover.. Management pay is capped, I believe at high 6 figures.

If you pay $100 for the "Executive Membership" you get a yearly check for 2% of your purchases back. Mince covers the membership cost and a couple hundred in free groceries..

Although they aren't union, the employees at the small Aldi stores are well paid and get good benefits.

Not all retail needs to be warehouse/box stores with a fee... But the pay structure should be followed.. I don't think Costco is union either, but if I were a kid out of high school with no real skills or college prospects, I'd be looking for a Costco gig

... in reference to "The 99 cent Store" because of the way you leave having spent more than you intended.

We love our local Costco, and really wish they'd get approved for a gas station along with everything else.

I usually shop there for groceries most of all, they have the best prices for milk, eggs, juices, cereals, etc.

I usually go there with my landlady using her membership card, but now that I have a steady job I may go for the executive membership once a few old debts are paid off.

I've started to become list-crazy. I put my list on my phone and I delete things as I get them. It has helped. But first you have to remember to put it ON the list, then you have to remember you HAVE the list...so...not foolproof.
