13. Just to be clear..the seafood thing is not about radiation.

The Chinese government imposed the ban after discovering that recent shipments of geoduck clams from Northwest waters had high levels of arsenic and a toxin that causes paralytic shellfish poisoning, KUOW public radio reported.


Oh, and there is this:
For most people, diet is the largest source of arsenic exposure, with usually smaller intakes from drinking water and air. Among foods, some of the highest levels are found in fish and shelfish; however, this arsenic exists primarily as organic compounds, which are essentially nontoxic….

I remember reading about arsenic some time back because there was a hullabaloo about rice growing in
arsenic tained ground in Louisiana, but not in Cal. rice.
