High School Senior (honor student)suspended for hugging teacher

This did not look like sexual harassment to me
And it seems fair to say that somehow this CNN reporter ..well was getting joy from reporting this.
Ok ..Did the teacher really push this student away or was that just the CNN reporters opinion?
Now I live in small town USA and I don't think this would have made the CNN news if this happened in our local school.
And I wonder if this student was White if it would have made CNN news clip.Whats your take on this video

1. I don't know if it's sexual harassment...

but the hug seems overbearing to me. I played it without the sound, so I didn't listen to the commentary. The teacher clearly was not reciprocating and remained pretty rigid. Adult educators of minors know that physical contact with a student is dangerous territory. An honor student would know this as well.

It looks like he invaded that teacher's space. He may not have meant any harm, but the teacher's livelihood is at stake. Given that it was on tape, the school may have had no choice.

stupid completely gone to hell.

There's no affection left on the planet... it's either stand behind bulletproof glass or it's sex. There's nothing left of human caring. Defend , defend, defend, sue, sue, sue, fear, fear, shoot, shoot... Sometimes I see humanity's end looming just because we have lost the ability to care lost in a blur of fear. Damn the infinitesimally small bunch of perverts that have started it, damn the lawyers who have promoted it, damn the money that feeds it, and double damn the stupid that has taken over humanity.

This was something I predicted would happen years ago.

her neck. That's a sexual move, not a friendly hug. How do you define sexual harassment?

I can't see the CNN video on my tablet, so I can't comment on the reporter's reaction.

I did see the Atlanta news video. Yes, the teacher pushed him away, this is very clear in the video.

Yes, if the student's mom was pissed off enough to call the media, a white teen would have made the news too. Kissing Boy earlier this week made the news, and he's white as can be.
