First of all, A&E should be ashamed of itself for ever putting on that TRASH.. They used to be a decent channel, back when they programmed for arts & entertainment..not lowlife trash.
The thing I miss most about "old-time" tv was when the channel designation actually gave you a clue about what to expect..

The History Channel showed real history..not a never-ending series of spliced-together films of all-things-Hitler, and barely disguised gun infomercials, Bible mythology, ghost hunting nonsense , alien stuff and any other silly thing they run across
National Geographic was a great channel for all their wonderful
documentaries, and now is little more than you-tube quality videos and "reality" junk.
If there is a market for the low-life trash, why not just create a few channels specifically for them. Let them all hang out together in their own "very special place".. The Duck guys, the Gator guys, the naked travelers, child-pageant freaks, and all their pals..
These shows are like a bedbug infestation..
That said, maybe there's a place for poor ole Paula Deen on the show if they put Daddy Duck in the woodshed.
