Thanks to our American fundies This bill which once had a measure of killing an LGBT now places them in prison for life. IT would also place people in jail for knowing a person is of the LGBT lifestyle and not reporting them to the police will get a person thrown in jail.
This bill is awaiting the Ugandan President's signature.
My wife ranted that if we stop for one moment thinking we are the greatest and we are better the rest of the world to see our Fundies are just as dangerous for the LGBT would community as Fundie Muslims are to women.
I can't believe the reach of our American Fundies that they are actually writing other countries laws.
And before those on the board snap that my wife and I are being rude and crude to the religious let me say this--We believe everyone should worship as they please just as long as they are not directly or indirectly harming anyone. If your religious belief has you running down the street every Tuesday night singing Queen songs Have at it BUT the minute we see peoples view points doing harm to others we find it sick and offensive and must be stopped.
