AP Reporter Bluntly Asks Obama: ‘Is This the Worst Year of Your Presidency?

video @ link....

During Friday afternoon’s White House press conference, Associated Press reporter Julie Pace began the Q&A with a rather blunt question for Pres. Obama: “Has his been the worst year of your presidency?”

“When you look back at this year, very little of what you outlined has been achieved,” Pace told the president. “And your ratings from the public are near historic lows for you,” she added before posing the aforementioned question.

“That is not how i think about it,” he said. “If I look at this past year, there are situations where I wish Congress had moved more aggressively: Not passing background checks in the wake of Newtown is something that I continue to believe was a mistake.”

Obama then listed off a few of what he believes are his administrative accomplishments in the past year, including a rollout of several manufacturing initiatives and a growth in oil and natural gas production.

The WH press corps is getting to be as bad as that "You lie" guy.

Not only was it disrespectful of the office, it was an absurd question.

This is the year when we are rolling out the most important change in medical care for Americans in 50 years -- a change that fundamentally improves an industry that is almost 20% of our economy.

This is the year when we were able to get out of the ownership of the auto companies, leaving a very competitive and robust domestic auto industry employing a million Americans who are now taxpayers instead of people receiving unemployment and SNAP. And it only cost the taxpayers $10B -- a number that is easily offset by the taxes paid by these EMPLOYED workers in 6 months time.

This is the year that Obama broke the back of the tea party. And we now have some budget stability for the next 2 years.

And still not a single successful terrorist act on our soil during the Obama years.

And this is what they call a bad year?

Let me tell you what a bad year is. A bad year is when you lie your way into a war that costs us a trillion bucks and thousands of lives.

A bad year is when you fail to act on clear warnings and terrorists succeed in bringing down the twin towers.

A bad year is when your economic policies bring our whole economy into shambles -- on the brink of another Great Depression.

When did any of these Media assholes ask George Bush if any of those years were his worst?

We'll see if she gets it and responds. I sent it with the subject,

"Is this the worst year of your reporting career?"
