60% Of US Worker Population Would Be Poverty Level If Floor Level Income Were Accurate

Poverty level income for 1 person is around $11,000 per year. It takes over $30,000 for one person to live barely comfortably and pay all the bills. That figure would include having access to health care.

The poverty level guidelines are a fraud and a joke because they are only about 1/3rd of what it take to live if you are a family of 2, 3, or 4. What such numbers mean is that poverty to grossly understated in this country.

The GOP is good at setting up "store front" programs that are like Hollywood movie sets. All the buildings are just facades. you walk through the door of the saloon on an old west set only to be in a parking lot or field. The GOP sets up programs few if any people qualify for or the programs are NOT funded.

Not that $11,000 will provide anything close to the ability to support yourself anywhere... how can you compare the cost of living on the coasts (NY/LA/DC) to the cost of living in a small town in Mississippi/ OH/Missouri ... ?

there are places in the US where $30,000 is enough to live on ... but those places aren't NY/LA/DC ... or many other areas.

Edit: the "you" in my post is meant as a collective "you" ... not referring to the OP
