Millionaire Oligarch Poses as Walmart Protester: Harasses Shoppers to Discredit/Mock Employees!

Unreal.

What is up with multimillionaire oligarchs who love to play dress up and pretend to "act" poor? Yet while the nation is currently focused on the embarrassing spectacle of "reality" show morons who make their living doing this kind of stuff, this smirking bastard is doing some real damage and has so far escaped notice.

His name is Peter Schiff.

Quick background: He amassed a huge fortune by moving/hiding wealthy people's money overseas and naturally fancies himself a patriot. He funds his own radio show and his own personal channel he calls "Schiff TV". Its so grating to watch because he actually thinks he's very clever and I suppose really thinks he would somehow be a media personality if he wasn't funding it himself. He is such a Burns/Peweterschmidt stereotype of the 1% he decided to literally represent the 1% at the OWS rally in New York two years ago. According to his wikipedia page, he credits his dad for his views on the economy... who by the way is currently serving a 13-year sentence for tax evasion in Federal prison.

The people shopping at Walmart need more money too, or they wouldn't be shopping at Walmart. One of the reasons to grab onto Walmart and fast food workers as a benchmark for raising wages to a living wage is because: a) they are literally everywhere and everyone knows they make shit for wages; and b) if the bottom of a large workforce who makes shit for wages gets an increase in wages to a living wage, that will bring up workers wages across the board in all jobs and force the jobs that are supposed to "pay more" to automatically increase to where they ought to be.

When real people have living wages and disposable cash to buy, vacation, eat out, choose different shopping experiences, have money/ time for higher education or training, have more time to spend with family and in community, then the America we'd like to see happen now, would begin to occur and people would be able to take the time to care about those who represent them in govt.

Who in the world would give that jack ass any money at all? He's a freak outside Walmart saying he'll take cc to then give to the employees at the end of the day. And how many actually did donate or would have given an extra $5 or $10? Many were interested until he started trying to say it had to be 15% of their bill. These people are making similar wages to that of the Walmart employees. Dumbass. A few tried to point this out but he talked over them. And I'm sure this is heavily edited!
