(362 posts)Back when that whole thing became known, I was working in a Sam Goody music store. We had a display where we sold the movie and the album together if you wanted it.

(12,530 posts)Back in the old days when I had a belt-driven turntable, I played Stairway to Heaven backwards, trying to find the "oh sweet Satan" part. The only thing I could ever make out was something that sounded like "I wish it would snow". Really.

(6,907 posts)Pete Townshend from the who had wanted to make a rock opera movie called "life house" but it was never made. You can read about it here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lifehouse_%28rock_opera%29
The thing is, a lot of the songs from it ended up making the who album who's next, and Townsend recorded a demo version of all the songs. All the demos are on youtube, and you can get the song order on the web, and kind of make your own soundtrack of it.
Then, the movie Wall-E. The fit between the two is so amazing. It is so much better than the dark side of the moon and wizard of oz.
I would send you my synched up video but there are copy right issues of course so I guess if someone private messaged me I'd try to help them find a link.
