Anyone here from the Lakeland, FL area?

As I mentioned in another post, my sister's dog was lost yesterday afternoon. She looks like this:

please let me know. Her name is Clover. She's very gentle (has NEVER bitten anyone, and believe me, one of my nephews has deserved it a few times) and she's timid. If by some miracle you're in that area and see a dog that looks like her, please call out to her and if she answers, please message me.

Have you tried posting ads in the local newspaper? darkangel218 Jan 2014 #1
I would seriously suggest posting an ad in the lost and found -- Found two different lost pets whathehell Jan 2014 #2

I'll pass them on to my sister, who's in Lakeland right now. I was just trying to do anything I could by posting here.

there as well. She may have freaked out over fireworks yesterday a lot of dogs do. It may be that whoever has her can't take her to the local shelter because they're closed but will bring her in tomorrow. Good luck. I have lost my dog before and it usually turns out okay.

I'm in the SE part of Lakeland, near Grove Park & Crystal Lake. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Some people steal dogs and sell them on Craigslist. I hope that isn't the case here.

For offering to help. Fortunately, some wonderful person listed her in the lost and found on Craigslist.

Clover and her family can rest at ease now.

The people who posted the L&F post are to be commended.

I always lock my dogs in the house (with the tv set on loud) on the Fourth of July and New Years' holidays because the fireworks terrify them.

ago my dog got out early in the morning (around 5). Here is what happened (it took me a few days to piece it together). A neighbor and his daughter were out running early in the morning when my dog Ellie decided to join them. They ran about a mile and went into a churh to go to the bathroom. During that time the Kroger in Franklin to Kroger in Belle Meade marathon ran by. Apparently my dog decided to join the party because she was found in the next town over (Belle Meade) inside the Walgreen's by Senator Frist and his family. She spent the day there having a big time before I found her. They listed her on Craigslist but put her in lost and found Belle Meade and I didn't think for a second that's where she would be. I was just looking at my town's listings. Anyway, all's well that ends well. She had a big time and was treated very well. She had so much fun she tried to run away every chance she got. Apparently she was looking to move on up in the world and wanted to go back to the Frists. lulz.
