Military (?) weapons of the future

The thing that struck me is that the majority of these weapons are for crowd control. Makes me shiver when I read how our police is becoming more militarized. I can see these weapons being used to curb the 99% as they march on Wall Street. Contractors for these are probably selling them with the "understanding" that they would have civilian uses - as one of the weapons were already employed in a U.S. crowd control situation.
