What should have been the "REAL" controversy about the whole Harris-Perry thing.

First off this whole Melissa Harris-Perry offensive comment is B.S. It was a funny comment my wife couldn't find anything wrong with the comment.

SECOND of all the more important question that should be ask is IF Romney's new Grandchild is a BOY why wasn't he dressed like all the other boys in the photo op? The boys wore Blue and White It was all the girls wearing Pink and dresses.

The little boy was wearing a pink dress.

THAT SHOULD BE THE CONTROVERSY!!!

I'm not trying to be racists in-sensitive to the LGBT community Drag Queens role models to my wife but if you have children in the step-ford like family wearing blue and white shouldn't ALL the boy regardless of age and color be dress the way as the other boys?

1. Where is all the TP worrying about her First Amendment rights? Seems like she should have the same

Rights. Palin could say she must have been preaching the gospel. MSNBC did not fire the guy who called Obama "a dick" but the RW overlooked that.

Please someone ... help me out.

5. I don't think she did. I think the whole conversation went off the track.

Perhaps she could have thought the whole thing through a little more. It struck some people as using the baby as a political club, which is why some topics are better left alone.

However, that said, who among us has not said something that in retrospect make you go

9. A baby is involved. I think that's what their point was.

Plenty of other stuff to make a point about republican racial bias.

where did MPH say anything about racial bias? She did say the part about Romney's grandson hooking up with Kanye's daughter ... but I read that to be more about Kanye's recent rants about the slavery that is corporate America.

11. IMHO, there was NOTHING wrong with MHP's remarks about Romney-Kanye. I liked that.

I thought it was gently funny and rather sweet.

At this point, the whole thing has been blown to hell and back out of proportion.

Perry: "I work by guiding principle that those who offend do not have the right to tell those they hurt that they r wrong for hurting."

If those offended are being over-sensitive, then I do have a right to tell them that they are wrong to be offended.

... someone in a comment yesterday somewhere pointed out that the 'other baby grandson' being held by the small girl on the far right of the photo was also wearing pink/peach.

and they all seem to be dressed alike. I don't think that's necessarily a dress, but could be a romper. I think this isn't a huge controversy. There are other things to criticize about most of the Romney famiy--leave the baby alone.
