Sorry, but my low post count is not relevant here, at all. I've been lurking this site for a long time. The recent discussions may have prompted me to finally register. Again, none of this is relevant.

What is relevant is why you think my OP is pushing buttons. What buttons have they pushed? Do you have a problem with the idea that maybe a man would treat a woman differently if he had a daughter? Or maybe he would realize later in life, after having a daughter, that shit, he probably shouldn't have put women through shit back in his youthful days? Because that's pretty much the essence of the OP. And it pushed a button in you, apparently.
