Christie's take on why Toll-gate is a big story...
Remember Christie scolding the reporters that the only reason the lane-closure thing is a story is because of who he is, being a national figure. He is a national figure because he is one of a short list of front-runners for the presidency.
Yes, Governor Christie. No Shit! That IS why it is a big deal.
Somewhere there is a guy in a bar mumbling about how he would like to nuke Mecca. And it is not a big story because that guy is not likely to ever be president.
A politician intentionally causing traffic jams to punish people for how they vote is monstrous behavior.
And when somebody might be the fricking PRESIDENT then that sort of monstrous behavior is of wide interest.
