How Did The Local News Stations In NJ Report About The Traffic Jams When They Were Happening?.....

Just wondering - what they were saying about the problems on the bridge on those days when this happened? Did they get any interviews or statements from officials about the traffic? Were they told that there was a traffic study being conducted? Did Christie's office issue any statements? Did the Mayor of Ft. Lee's office issue any statements? Did they interview any people that were stuck in the traffic and get their comments? Did the local police, fire and rescue teams make any statements?

It would be interesting to hear any of this - if it is recorded and including on any clips here on the internet.

Just wondering why it took so long for this GWB thing to become such a big story.

Not being a NJ or NY resident - I wasn't cued in on this whole thing when it actually happened. Now because it has escalated into such a national story - I've just learned about it in the last few days.

What was captured and said at the time that this happened?

Did I hear that this traffic snarl happened very near the date of the anniversary of 9/11? If so - wouldn't any concerned public official want to find out and get to the bottom of the traffic congestion - as a precaution to know that it wasn't caused by any potential terrorist that might want to make this bridge a target? After all - I'm hearing that it is one of the countries busiest bridges.
