Jerks on the Loose (redneck, hillbilly a-holes): Photos

The stream in the Pisgah National Forest (today) - pristine, gin-clear, and icy as a mountain stream should be. It even looks like some of those beer commercials. Buuuusch!

The campsite on the FS-140 road right next to the same spot on the stream:

I picked up all of these assholes' trash and garbage. Enough to fill a large black lawn bag. The stinking bag is in the back of my truck until I can go to the dump.

BTW: I saw a KKK flag flying on US-178 near Rosman, NC, today. I'll try for a pic next time.

We have them (litterbugs) here in Texas but the community I live in is heavily Hispanic so by saying it is rednecks or hillbillies would probably be too broad of a brush.

I can be 20 miles from the road and I'll still find bottles, cans, wrappers, etc. I always pack the trash up and carry it out in my pack, and it really pisses me off to have to do that.

I'm a lifetime country girl and yes, I'm here on this thread to witness to the fact this is extremely common redneck behavior. As is shooting roadsigns. Hunting while drunk is a fairly common practice among rednecks as well. Also, in rattlesnake country, some rednecks will run over any snake they see, they just "kill 'em all, and let gawd sort 'em out" haw haw.

There's a beautiful and popular swimming hole on the border of a beautiful wilderness area not far from where I live, about twenty miles driving distance from a notoriously red neck small town. The kids go there to swim and drink, and leave the parking lot, the area around the swimming hole (including in the creek itself) full of trash (lots of beer cans, cigarette butts, and empty snack bags). Dirty disposable diapers are a real treat too. They piss (and sometimes shit) right near the creek, too, because that's where the most cover is.

And then they ride Daddy's quads in no vehicle zones, and tear up the land.

Not all rednecks do this, of course, but way too many of them do.
