Just saw in today's Sheboygan Press, EAA volunteers restoring a B-29

They want to get it flyable, so there can be 2 flying B-29's.

of the other one. Midwest being bought has forced him to relocate to Kansas City, and now somewhere in Ohio, so he doesn't get to spend much time at EAA but I think he still helps out during the airshow.
