It's actually a fake photo. 4-Methylcyclohexanemethanol is a colorless liquid approximately equal in density to water. The only real indicator of the agent in water is it's mint-like odor.

Yeah I assume "mint-like" is a pretty broad term. Licorice kind of smells minty.
