Christie could go to prison: Blagojevich prosecutor hired in Christie bridge probe

Maybe I'm overly optimistic about this. But, why shouldn't New Jersey have the same kinda justice as Illinois?

Our lovely governor blago was sentenced to 14 years in prison for attempting to sell Barack Obama's senate seat and attempting to bribe Children's Memorial Hospital for political gain. Now the same prosecutor was hired to go after Christie.

I wonder what Reid Schar will find:

Even if it comes out that Christie was into this up to his eyeballs, it still wasn't for personal gain, like Blago. Besides, I doubt that Christie was stupid enough to leave damning messages on a tapped communications system.

Yes, we gloat over his troubles, but the tea party is laughing even harder over it.

But Christie's already toast for the GOP nomination, the tea party absolutely won't accept him, and they make up a majority of Rethuglican primary voters and caucus-goers in the earliest states. By the time the NY primary is held, he'll already have crashed and burned.
