4. This is a classic statistical fallacy.

There's an old joke about a man who moved from one state to another, thereby increasing the average IQ of both. This is exactly the same paradox.

On average, black fathers who live with their children may be more involved than white fathers who do, and black fathers who do not live with their children may be more involved than white fathers who do not.

But that would only mean that black fathers were more involved on average if the proportions who lived with their children were equal, and I believe they're significantly different.

...for black men. They seem more likely to be caregivers for their children than white or Latino men.

7. Thats good for children that have fathers. Unfortunately about 70% of black children

live in single parent homes, usually without a father. That number is only about 25% for white children.

9. Weird that this study

left out Asians and Native Americans. I'm curious to see what their numbers were, too. I wonder if it's because there weren't enough of them or something? It's interesting because on a lot of other studies and with discussions about things like discrimination and which ethnic demographics to fight for in elections, they'll just include Blacks and Latinos, and that's it (I say all of this as someone who is Black myself).

The graphic is interesting, though, for sure.

In reality good fatherhood has less to do with race and more to do with education and economic opportunity.
