'The Professor' from Gilligan's Island has passed.

RIP Russell Johnson, of "Gilligan's Island" infamy. Years of schooling later, he remained my favorite Professor....

There is an episode of Big Valley where he and Charles Grodin played a couple of charming killers. Good stuff.

I knew that Russell's son had been an AIDS activist and died some years ago. I'm glad they mentioned him in the obit.
