(11,366 posts)Many women could die of ovarian cysts and some forms of ovarian cancer if they didn't have The Pill.
P.S. In addition, limited the number of births a woman is forced to have also saves many women's lives. Women STILL die in child birth, you know.

(7,947 posts)are $4 at Wal-mart, without insurance. If BC had been that cheap there wouldn't be a need to force this.

(14,337 posts)Plus different states have different plans. When I lived in NY, there was a nominal co-pay but no deductible. Here in Florida (both husband's private and mine public), there not only were co-pays but a $450 deductible for scripts. You have to being taking drugs on a regular basis to meet that deductible. If you need just antibiolitics every now and then, good luck. You will be paying for ALL your meds.

(51,666 posts)Stop whining. The no co-pay is fair compensation for the fact that FOR DECADES they weren't covered by many insurance plans at all.
Why are you on DU? All you do is attack liberal causes.
