I can not imagine how difficult it was to make the decision to speak the truth . I hope the Mayor of Fort Lee does the same.

Perhaps DU should petition the Justice Department to move her into witness protection.

Whoa! She's got nerves of steel! No wonder she was so slow to come forward. She's playing with some pretty mean adversaries. And YES. It DOES make me wonder what else they've done, and how far they're willing to go to protect christie. How far christie himself is willing to go to get to the ultimate brass ring.

I hope she and her family stay safe! One thing that may be in her favor, that I've been thinking about since this whole mess got rolling - I wonder how far christie inc. is willing to risk sticking its collective neck out now, with more people watching, and more of these dirty tricks are coming to light. And I'm certain there's more. They've been able to operate in the darkness for awhile and strong-arm people for awhile without getting caught and without somebody blowing the whistle on them, indeed without anybody even suspecting. I've wondered how long they're still willing to play this kind of hardball now that more people are looking, and the heat's on. Dawn Zimmer probably felt that it was fairly safe to come forward only now - with christie's real MO starting to come out. I'm wondering if they're still gonna play so close to the thin ice now. Or do they lay low hoping the heat will die down? Do they lay off some of their targets for awhile because it's too hot to play that hard at present? Might it be considered safer for others to stick their necks out now, as Dawn just did? This can't be the only instance.

I'll bet all those Dems in the state legislature and the various mayors' offices who supposedly just love-love-love chris christie only have done so because they know somebody's got a knife to their throats (or their constituents' throats) if they don't play along. From things I've heard and read, it strongly suggests exactly that.

Frickin' THUGS!!!

who supported chrispy are cowards and I don't care what the excuse. They are responsible to the people, not their own pocketbooks. As far as the threats, refer to above word. Period. Zimmer is a real hero with ovaries of steel.

My guess is that the Christie insiders are checking their homes and offices for bugs and fear that everyone they talk to is wearing a wire. tee-hee Paranoia will make those rats so much less efficient.

goodness she kept a diary.. I don't care if it is all that's written down about the exchanges between her and Lt Gov Kim Guadagno And her and Richard Constable(Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs.)

I can imagine how hard it was for Dawn Zimmer.. she comes across as a responsible person who wants the best for her city of Hoboken.

thanks Hissyspit

Maybe it's the natural outcome of more women in office but every time I turn on the TV another woman is letting people know they are NOT putting up with this shit.
