Boehner profanity aimed at (tea party favorite, Steve) King (R-IA) is revealed.

The U.S. House speaker referred to Iowa’s fire-tongued Steve King with a profane remark in a very brief conversation on the U.S. House floor in July, according to a fellow congressman. Speaker John Boehner used the word a------, according to Democratic U.S. Rep. Joaquin Castro, shortly after King generated dozens of headlines for describing young immigrants as cantaloupe-legged drug mules.

“There’s no place in this debate for hateful or ignorant comments from elected officials,” King’s statement said. “What he said does not reflect the values of the American people or the Republican Party, and we all need to do our work in a constructive, open and respectful way.”

An avalanche of criticism was dumped on King for the comment, made in July to a conservative publication during a discussion about immigration reform legislation. King said supporters of a pathway to citizenship for immigrants living here illegally like to portray them as successful young people who weren’t brought to the United States by choice.

“They aren’t all valedictorians, they weren’t all brought in by their parents,” King said. “For every one who’s a valedictorian, there’s another hundred out there that they weigh 130 pounds and they’ve got calves the size of cantaloupes because they’re hauling 75 pounds of marijuana across the desert.”

Oh the irony. King apparently does not realize that if “There’s no place in this debate for hateful or ignorant comments from elected officials ...", he will have to stop talking completely.

The Orange Man empowered the tea party so now he has to suffer the consequences.
