The MLK ceremony in Mumbai was pretty cool

I didn't think had made that much of an impact in India, but his admiration for Gandhi seems to have caught people's imagination.

Anyways, a bunch of high school kids were reading his speeches at the Vivekananda and Gandhi statues. The speech I caught was my favorite of his, about being glad he didn't sneeze.

I know MLK day is just starting for most of you guys, but I was glad to see he's acknowledged in India.

beings too, sigh...Progress is slow, I know, but I fervently believe this from Dr. King, "Let us realize the arc of the moral universe is long but it bends toward justice."

Changing ingrained attitudes is a slow, frustrating process, but a very worthwhile one. It might take a generation or two, but I am confident that attitudes will change.
