Let me tell you about my cat's drug

And how fucked up American Health Care is.
She takes a certain drug daily, it costs us about 80 cents a pill from the vet. Now this is a regular steroid type drug they give to humans.
Last time they substituted another generic comparable because the supply of the drug she was taken is low and they couldn't get any.
It wasn't as effective and the Vet suggested trying Target or Walgreens. We would have her prescription, but of course no insurance.
With insurance this scrip would be $4 for a person. At the vet it's about $25.

At Target $160 for 30 pills!

This is the state of healthcare in America.

Bleed the sick, and the poorer and worse condition you live in, the harder it is on you.

I know people that my cat's price for a monthly scrip would be hard, but $160 a month.

I know the ACA was basically hands off the Drug Industry, but I hope it does something about this type of thing.

follows no logic.

BTW I was not calling out Target, i get the feeling all retailers would have a similar price for this drug without insurance.
I guarantee the Insurance Cos don't pay the extra $156 for this. But they stick it to people without Ins.
