How to react to a Bully

Seen some of the republican response to Dawn Zimmer's failure to bring this threat public before and continued positive public tweets and statements about Christie after the threat. In the republican presentation that is inconsistent with the actions of a threat victim.

However, this is not true and can easily be turned around. Every day people react in different ways to bullies at work and at school and it always puts the person who has less power in difficult positions. This is one of the big issues of sexual harassment at work and the republican argument would seem to argue that it does not occur unless people immediately sue.

However, a simpler meme is to compare it to school. Every day some kids get bullied. Some bring it to their principal or teacher but others suck it up trying to either avoid the bully or take actions to try to make the Bully not pick on them. Unless a teacher sees it the kid may not be able to get resolution. The kid is subject to retaliation. The kid might be hoping the problem will just resolve. The exact response varies depending on the person and the proof involved but it puts the kid being bullied in a hard position. Now imagine that the Bully is the Quarterback on the championship high school football team.
