Nathaniel Wentz has football in his blood. He and his dad have bonded over the victories and heartbreaks on the gridiron since Nathaniel was just 3 years old.
"Im a die hard," said Nathaniel.
"We're very passionate about it," added his father, Randall.
On Sunday those passions were tested when Nathaniel was told to go home and change his shirt after coming to work in a Denver Broncos jersey. He says the manager at the Odyssey 1 family entertainment center in Tacoma invited employees to wear jerseys to work on game day to show off their team spirit. Apparently, however, he only meant Seahawks jerseys.
"I thought, wow. Really?" said the elder Wentz.
The father says he asked to talk to the owner, who didnt call back, so Nathaniel stayed home. The next day he found out he had been fired.

As a Seahawks fan, I say that this place should apologize to the kid and hire him back, with a raise.
Oh, and...don't count your chickens, Eg-the 49ers thought THEY had it locked up, too.

(12,448 posts)This season has been pretty good for us, so this game has more than the fact that my newest Super Bowl Champions shirt is getting pretty threadbare riding on it.
Seattle has a very impressive one-dimensional team and before the Broncos pushed the Pats around for three hours, I was leaning toward just watching this one with the hopes that it would being entertaining. Last week's game showed a glimpse of the difference between the conferences.
The Super Bowl was last Sunday, and the money agrees, look at how many pros jumped on the early line. The odds makers gave Seattle the Madden Edge (Offense wins games, defense wins championships), but most people recognize that it's a new game from when John could walk the sideline, and Jackson/Lynch are not likely to be able to keep up.

I'm pulling for Denver because I've liked Peyton Manning since I first saw him on local tv when he was just a young kid; our local media covered the Manning family regularly since Archie Manning has lived here.
There will be two strong teams playing this year; either team could win.
