Just finished watching the documentary "Mitt"

The guy comes off as an even bigger self-righteous asshole than ever. And now it looks like the Romney campaign DID expect to lose on election day, but didn't bother telling Paul Ryan who looked like a goofball measuring the drapes to the Vice President's residence.

MO ? I have often thought that Bushco owned the software and unless they fully sanctioned your election..you wouldn't get it.

It's likely the next GOP team will be just as bad, or worse. We had better to ready, because the country is in no shape right now to suffer through another Republican administration in the White House.

Eisenhower, Nixon (gave us the EPA). If we had to choose between one or the other - the wise choice would be let them have the White House.

The president can't really put forward much of an agenda if the opposing party controls the legislative branch.

The president appoints not just Supreme Court justices that serve for life, but many of the Federal courts as well.

With as crazy as the GOP has been getting lately, they could really fuck things up in the civil rights department should they start stacking the courts.

I have never forgotten the news of him and two other pricks out enjoying a couple of $350 bottles of wine while Congress was in the middle of debates over whether to cut the safety net for seniors:

http://gawker.com/5819496/paul-ryan-and-the-350-bottles-of-wine

Nor have I forgotten the news of him at a staged photo-op pretending to wash [clean] dishes at an Ohio soup kitchen while his wife and three children pretended to help:

Measuring the drapes in the VP's residence only serves to highlight was a self-entitled phoney this guy is, second only to Mittens himself, and that is what really should never be forgotten.

Anybody who didn't know Obama was going to win is an idiot. For all Mitt's assholishness, he isn't, in my view, an idiot. The Romney people knew they were going to lose. So did everyone in the media, the Obama campaign, and any moderately informed observer. Politics isn't an "any given Tuesday" sort of thing 99.99999% of the time. It's eminently predictable. That's why the "Mitt didn't know" storyline is so attractive and silly. It defies credulity. It's also why Karl Rove's behavior on election night remains so very, very strange.

There are two scenes in which he is picking up stuff from the floors of hotel rooms, and nobody else lifts a finger to help out.

I found it incredibly boring - perhaps because I followed the campaign rather closely so there were no real surprises or revelations for me. I suppose this piece wasn't made for one who already knew the Romney's and their sicknesses.

The slant and editing did, however, make Romney the sympathetic character. The cheering crowds of numbers was not how it really went so avoiding showing the many meet ups he had with little interest tells you right there who made the film, a sympathizer.

His family was much creepier and annoying that he was. I hope his sons don't go into politics, my gawd what robotic souless phonies.

Which is why he didn't write speech in case he lost. I've always thought that was just the story tho bc they were probably conferencing with Rove.
