An oversimplification?

Left: Our government is abused by corporations.

Right: The government is abusing corporations.

The common thread among the rightwing appears to be that it is our government is 100% at fault for everything that ails us and must be weakened. As if our government is something "other" outside of us.

While on the Left we strive for "Our" government. To strengthen our government for the people first and corporate power last.

Who accepted the bribes and passed all the legislation that has allowed corporations to take control of the government ????

Who hires all the regulators and inspectors that are suppose to keep the corporations under control ????

Who has control over our Consumer Protection agencies ????

Who passed all the tax laws that enables corporations to pay less taxes than working individuals ????

Our government is at FAULT.

I am a Socialist.

I am in favor of big government.

I am NOT in FAVOR of big corrupt government.

I am NOT in FAVOR of big government that caters to the whims of global corporations, Wall Street, or CEO's.

The US government, the Supreme Court, the Judicial system, the penal system, and the main stream media are corrupt beyond repair.
