Rand Paul: 'Women are winning' the war on women

Unbelievable. Thank you Rand...please keep talking.

Sen. Rand Paul said Sunday that Democrats are failing in their attempts to frame the GOP as a party that wages a war against women.

"The whole thing of the 'war on women,' I sort of laughingly say, 'Yeah, there might have been - but the women are winning it,'" the Republican senator from Kentucky said on CNN's "State of the Union." He said women have made great strides and, as an example, now make up more than half the students at medical and law schools.

"I think women are doing very well, and I'm proud of how far we've come," the potential 2016 presidential candidate continued.

Rand Paul clarifies comments about poverty and unwanted pregnancies

"And I think some of the victimology and all of this other stuff is trumped up. We don't get to any good policy by playing some sort of charade that somehow one party doesn't care about women or one party is not in favor of women advancing, or other people advancing."

Geez, it's just so ... I could swear I've read similar crap spewed in order to shut feminists up ... I just can't remember where ....

Something about how male privilege is meaningless because women have just as much?

I can't remember.

Anyway, yeah, it's utter bullshit and fools who spew such crap are just completely full of shit.

admission and job opportunities despite being better qualified 20-50 years ago! That should even things up.

Oh wait, I guess we don't care about opportunities for anyone other than Rand Paul's family members.

15. It's interesting that no one here who's posted such crap is in this thread backing Rand up.

they just don't want to confront the fact that "women have it better than men" is an RW talking point.

Also now that you mention it, the times I have seen posts that are criticizing women or feminists, I have always seen feminists in the comments. There are always some thought-provoking conversations in those posts.

And many people who believe this work hard to catapult this propaganda in the effort to ensure nothing changes.
