****WCGreen Update -- Sunday January 26, 2014****

From his wife, Laurie: A Christopher Green update:

Chris scared us yesterday with a very high temperature and other problems. Amy (Chris' sister) and I stopped to see him today and he mouthed, "I feel like shit" in response to Amy's question of how he was. Chris answered me with nods when I asked what hurt - his chest? hip? back? All were yes. I leaned over to kiss his cheek and he wanted to kiss me!
Chris is still very sick.

FYI: Chris' sister Amy is a nurse practitioner.

That is progress...

I hope they get a handle on where the infection is, and quickly.

... I don't like the sound of it though. A fever after a transplant is NOT good. His body could be starting to reject the new lungs or one of them. Thank God he can communicate how he feels. Hope they ar able to treat his pain. Praying...

He most certainly is still very sick, but he's communicating which is encouraging. I hope he heals quickly and well.
