Including Charles' second wife, Ruth Crawford Seeger, who was a modernist composer of considerable talent before switching her energies to folklorism.

It captured the poverty of the time and yet a family filled with culture and dignity. Love it. Thanks for posting. His father wearing slacks, long sleeve white shirt and tie reminded me of my paternal grandfather. He always wore the same thing.
