Kanye West Confronts Anna Wintour Over Lena Dunham's Vogue Cover

It's no secret that Kanye West believes Kim Kardashian deserves to be on the cover of Vogue, but would another star's good fortune really cause him to confront the magazine's editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour?

West was outraged by the fact that Wintour put the "Girls" star Lena Dunham on the magazine's February cover, while she continues to overlook Kardashian. The website claims that West was supposedly in such a tizzy that he "demanded answers" from Wintour while at lunch at the Polo Lounge.

A source claims that West confronted Wintour and insisted that his fiancee is "just as talented as Lena, if not more so." The insider reveals that West believes Kardashian has a much larger fan base than Dunham, and finds it "insulting" that Wintour is still refusing to make her a Vogue cover girl. A rep for Vogue declined to comment when contacted by the Huffington Post. While it seems doubtful that Dunham's cover would prompt West to confront Wintour given their well-documented admiration for one another, the 36-year-old rapper has been very vocal about the magazine's efforts to shun the reality star.

"[When] I took [Kim] to the Met Ball and they put [photos] up on Vogue.com and tried to say she wasn’t there because they didn’t want a reality show girl there," West complained in October. "And there’s no way Kim Kardashian shouldn’t be on the cover of Vogue. She’s like the most intriguing woman right now.
